Abrasive Hand Pads - 6 x 9
Hand pads are excellent products for hand finishing and cleaning of woods, metals
and composite surfaces. The pads range from very aggressive (like steel wool
or wire brushes) to non-abrasive (for cleaning glass, fine metals, etc.). Select pads s
based on application needs and characteristics of the individual pad.
• Manufactured from tough synthetic fibers bonded together with specially
formulated resins and impregnated with mineral grain, creating a consistent,
open 3-dimensional structure .
• Will not rust.
• Can be used dry for scuffing and finishing, or with water or chemical
solvents for wet applications.
Coating Advantages:
Aluminum Oxide
• Best used for economical, general purpose grinding, deburring and blending ferrous and nonferrous materials.
• High cut rate and durability.
Silicon Carbide
• Sharp abrasive grain providing high initial cut rate and penetration for work on nonferrous materials.
